Project Development support

We speak bureaucracy so your project doesn’t stall.

From project identification to proposal submission, we accelerate the path to development through smart policy navigation and proposal strategy.

    • Media Monitoring: Monthly review of statewide and regional media outlets highlighting potential opportunities.

    • RFP Channels: Weekly monitoring of state and federal RFP databases with real time notifications when projects of interest arise.

    • Town Meeting Warrants: Review of every town meeting warrant for potential development projects, deliverable of an executive summary each month tailored to your interests.

    • Planning Board and Town Council Minutes and Agendas: Review all municipal government materials for the towns you’re interested in working in. This might be as easy as reading through printed materials, but in some situations, we can develop relationships with town public works employees, code enforcement officers, and the elected officials themselves so we get wind of new opportunities before anyone else.

    • DOT Work Plan and Leveraging Key Legislators: A persistent legislator pushing for DOT to focus on a road or bridge in their town can make a huge difference in the projects that the state decides to pursue. We provide legislators with the intelligence and guidance to make those key asks to the correct folks at DOT so you can have the inside track on preferred projects that are close to your targeted work region.

    • Chamber of Commerce and Local Business Groups: We join the local Chamber of Commerce in your town and attend regular events to keep up with any rumored developments in key areas.

    • Pre-bid background dossier of relevant municipal officials, planning board members, regulatory boards, code enforcement officers, and town managers as a means to anticipate possible pitfalls. We include the local legislative delegation if applicable to the project.

    • Individual intercepts with board members prior to formal bid preparation. We offer this service before proceedings begin as this will allow for the free flow of information prior to the ex parte period.

    • Identification of likely local troublemakers, including but not limited to: NIMBY activists, environmental advocates, and abutters that may be most impacted by your project.

    • Executive Summary: We boil down your complex drawings, bid schedules, environmental plans, and timetables into a simple document, written in plain language, and tailored to your audience so you don't have to rely on bureaucrats to understand how you plan to get the job done.

    • One-Pager: A simple, plain language explanation of your project, in large font, using big pictures, so you can communicate to legislators, municipal officials, and members of the public in a way that reduces any barriers to understanding your vision.
